Riding Into ECS 2025: EasyLife 365’s Wild West Takeover in Düsseldorf
From May 26 to 28, the EasyLife 365 crew saddled up and rode straight into Düsseldorf for the European Collaboration Summit, the largest Microsoft 365 conference in the world. Just like every year, ECS was the place to be, and this time we went all in. Together with our friends at Experts Inside, we took on the role of premium sponsors and built a Wild West saloon right in the heart of the expo hall. It wasn’t just a booth. It was an immersive Wild West experience, complete with wooden walls, western charm, and a healthy dose of EasyLife 365 flair. Yeehaw, we don’t do things halfway.
But it wasn’t just about cowboy hats and western vibes. We came with a story to tell. A tale of chaos, order, and the tools that help tame the wild world of Microsoft 365. On May 27, our very own Sheriff, Samuel Zürcher, took to the stage to deliver a session that was more true crime drama than tech talk. From M365 Chaos to Control: The Sheriff's True Crime Story, starring EasyLife 365 was a narrative journey through the messes we see all too often in the digital workplace, and how EasyLife 365 rides in, unicorn-powered, to bring law and order back to the land. Yeehaw!
This year, ECS was bigger than ever. With over 3,000 attendees, more than 75 sponsors, and more than 150 sessions across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, AI, Azure, and beyond, the energy was nonstop. And for the first time, ECS joined forces with the European AI and Cloud Summit and the European BizApps Summit, giving participants access to all three events in one place. It was a rare opportunity to mix, match, learn, and connect across technologies and disciplines.
For us, ECS is never just a conference. It’s a moment to meet our community face to face, to share laughs and learnings, to talk shop and swap stories. It’s a reminder of how vibrant this space is and how much we can learn from each other.
The saloon may have been a set piece, but the spirit behind it was real. We’re here to bring order where there’s chaos, to help teams get their tools under control, and to make Microsoft 365 feel a whole lot less like the Wild West.
Until we ride together again, ride safe!
